Photos from Cannonball Run and Norfolk

Short video of one of the Cannonball Bikes

Love these old bikes
Tonight in Sandusky, Ohio we caught up with the Cannonball Run.  All the bikes are pre-1930 and they are riding from New York to San Francisco in 16 days.  They are mostly Harley's but a fair number of Indians, Henderson's, BMW's and even an old BSA.

Tomorrow we leave for home and will try to accompany some of these old bikes as they make their way to Muskegon, Michigan for the ferry ride to Milwaukee and the Harley Museum.

The above photo is the USS Wisconsin and this photo was taken from where I had parked my bike while trying to check into the hotel.

Phil and I helped this old gentleman, Ed Stone, WWII Submarine Veteran find his car in the parking lot.  While looking for it Ed kept us entertained with great stories about his time on the boats.  He was originally in the wrong parking lot and we were able to get him to the right place and then find his car by using the "panic button" on his key chain to start the horn honking.  Made us proud to make his acquaintance.
